Amina Mourid
Amina is the co-founder of Think Tanger. Passionate about urban life, the past ten years have been marked by a variety of experiences within cultural and environmental organizations, focused on urban development.With a Master's degree in Political Science, she co-founded Think Tanger in 2016 with the firm belief that urban transformation is an essential political act. For her, everything is political: from social interactions to the mechanisms at play in society. Nevertheless, she remains convinced of the power of collective action and the richness of individual narratives.Recently returning from the Amazon, where she had an immersive experience that profoundly influenced her relationship with living beings and biodiversity. This adventure enriched her vision of urban planning and strengthened her conviction that models of urbanization focused on humans and the environment are necessary.Thus, in 2023, she realized her dream by returning to university at the Mediterranean Institute of the City and Territories (IMVT) in Marseille, to fully embrace the profession of urban planner. Enriched by this unique journey, she returned to settle in Tanger as an associate of Think Tanger to develop academic research projects and collaborations with the Mediterranean basin
