Tarek El Ariss

Tarek El Ariss is a writer, scholar, and professor of Middle Eastern Studies and Comparative Literature at Dartmouth College. His work focuses on modern Arabic literature, digital culture, and contemporary forms of subjectivity and narrative. He is the author of several books, including Leaks, Hacks, and Scandals and Water on Fire, a memoir exploring memory, war, and exile.
