Dhia Dhibi

At this open studio at Tanger Print Club, Tunisian artist and researcher Dhia Dhibi presents his ongoing research project Landing Points, exploring how digital infrastructures in the Mediterranean reproduce historical power asymmetries.

Focusing on the landing point of a new submarine fiber-optic cable in Nador, Dhibi traces connections between the city’s colonial history, contemporary data flows, and the extractive dynamics that shaped the region.

The TUNIS–TANGIER Cross Residency is a collaborative project by Think Tanger, Nessij, and Mouhit Space.
